In 2008 the best two African, Arab and Egyptian football players were talking in the Confederation of African Football Awards, the first was awarded as CAF player of year, and the second was awarded as CAF Most Promising Talent of the Year.The first player is Mohammed Abu Trika, the second player is Mo Salah, in this day Mo Salah said to his idol Mohammed Abu Trika: “ One day, I will be the best player in Africa like you “, Trika replied: “ You will be the best player in the world”.
Mo Salah is the Egyptian player who plays as a forward for Premier League club Liverpool and the Egypt national team, he was born 15 June 1992, he was born is a small poor village in Egypt named Nagrig. Although his football carer started in 2004 in an anonymous team named Ittihad Basyoun, he was way more different compared with his companies, he was a young player with enormous dreams, he believed that he will be one of the best players in the world.
Four years later he was awarded as CAF Most Promising Talent of the Year, this moment was just the beginning of the story of the Egyptian king Mo Salah, he said to his idol Mohammed Abu Trika, I will be the best player in Africa, as Abu Trika said in one of his famous interviews in 2017. In 2017 he was awarded as African Footballer of the Year, not so much later he was awarded in 2018 as The Best FIFA Men's Player: (3rd place). Mo Salah is a great example for any person has a dream, teaching as that dedication and hard work will always be worth it.
Mo Salah suffered allot in his life, still he never gave up, he said that the key word of success is: “Have faith in ALLAH, stand strong, and speak the truth. Never forget the people helped you in your journey, always be grateful to your family, friends, neighbours, and any one was your companion in yourlife”. He didn’t achieved his title “The Egyptian king” easily, he faced allot of obstacles in his career. In the beginning of his career, he used to commute for more than ten hours per day, travelling from his small village to Cairo daily, to train with his team, later on, because of his dedication he signed a contract with the Swiss club Bazel. Following this, he had another obstacle, when José Mourinho decided to sign with Mo Salah for his team Chelsea. He locked Mo Salah as a substitutional player for the hall season, and this affected his career. Because Mo Salah is a man who always do whatever he believes in, caring nothing about the consequences, he experienced a degradations in his career, by leaving Chelsea and transfer to an anonymous team in Italy, and this was the start for another great story in his career. He was the best player in this team, his dedication helped him to transfer to Roma having one of his best seasons. The season that helped him transferring to Liverpool.
The Egyptian king always wanted to be a great ambassador to his Religion, culture, Country, and Nation. He successfully did, he made all his fans in the west like his Religion, morality, culture, country, and nation. Who can believe that we will see the kids in England saying the name of Allah in their cheers, or watching a group of English millennials defending and supporting Muslims, and when they were asked why they did that , their respond was Mo Salah taught as that Muslims are not terrorists. He was the reason that we can witness youth in Liverpool celebrating by SJOOD --- “one of the Pillars of Islamic prayer” ---, and the greatest surprising apprize, many people in Liverpool specifically, and Western countries generally started to learn Islam, and some of them converted. Mo Salah changed an image the western media spend many decades trying to build, he dilapidated the famous stereotypical image of Muslims and Arabs in the west. This is the real meaning of a great influence, Mo Salah taught all of us many lessons in morals and dedication.
Mo Salah was awarded with many awards in a very short period, starting from 2012 until this day, he was awarded with more then seven titles with his teams, and thirty four titles individually, he did what no one could do in the history of the game. In 2019 Time magazine awarded him as on of the most influencing 100 person in the world, he is the first Arab player awarded with the Golden ball, he is FIFA's 3rd best player in the world, and many other titles.
To sum up, Mo Salah taught all of his fans the value of belief, the value of dedication, the value of dreaming, and working hard to reach your dreams. Muhammad Salah is one the greatest ambassadors to Islam, Arabs, and Egyptians, just by his achievements and morals.
